Job Allocations

This is where we will be declaring who is doing what, when, and how.

  1. Alright, so as far as I know, here's the what's going down for the first couple weeks:

    Jordan -- Early Level Design, blocking out of nodes, halls, landmarks, objectives.

    The rest of you, comment on this post and let everybody know what you plan on contributing for the next couple weeks.

  2. I am taking the "mechanic" track... so I guess I do programming. But I don't exactly know how I'll do any programming without assets to program. I guess I can get started on the NPC's that you talk to, and I could define a few triggers that I think we might need.

    If there is something you want me to do let me know, Im not sure what all is considered 'mechanical' quite yet.

  3. I'm taking care of some Art Production and creating the model for the main character for our game. I have already began to come up with some ideas for the game with some quick sketches.

  4. Well, Jake, I think you can help by starting to model some environment objects, I.E.: The faerie light crystals, some organic "innard" details like the polyps and hemmhoragic objects, haha... I donno. What types of things could we find in there? Medieval statues? Small buildings like huts? Cottages? Barns? Pitchforks? Viking longboats? Just start thinking about the different types of atmospheres we want the player to experience throughout the transitions of the journey.

  7. I talked to Amanda on Friday and she helped me figure out what I should be working on. Im gonna start working on the mechanics with basic blocks and non detailed models so that its ready to go when the assets are done. You and I need to sit down though and figure out what kind of obstacles and stuff are going to be in the level so I can figure out what I need to program

  9. Ok sounds good. I have the basic concepts in my head along with an idea on how I'll make it work, but I wanna solidify the basic level so I can get it working.
