What we know about our hero:
A young Chinese immigrant boy whose family works and lives at a laundromat; he ends up being thrown into a dryer machine on accident and ends up taking an "Alice" style trip into the world of the innards of a dragon.
His name: Pu Li.
He likes reading good ol' classic stories in his spare time outside of school, and when he's not reading, the little boy can be seen setting highscores on the arcade machines. Konan Axe and Hundripede are his favorites, since... well... those are the only two games at the laundromat. And the Crane Game is just aggravating. He's always wanted that Tarfield plush toy at the bottom...

I just had a hilarious idea. If we can get it to work... lets say that Pu is so obsessed with video games that when he opens up doors, or finds something he wasn't expecting, he does the "unlock secret" sound from Zelda, but he is making the sound himself, so we record Scott going "do-do-do-do-do.." etc.... and have the sound play whenever he picks up something.
ReplyDeleteI do like that idea. The only problem I have with it is that Scott doesn't sound like a little child.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely pull off that voice.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Scott can do a "kids voice" and make it convincing, atleast for our purposes.
